I saw a photo of several women, each with a smile pasted on her face, and almost all of them holding their bastard offspring; then I read page after page of a sickening article about women who deliberately make their children bastards, and not once did the author call a spade a spade. She wouldn’t include the B word in her article would she? No, she doesn’t have the guts, being a pussy-footer. What kind of booby prize should be given to Bryan Miller for such a cop-out?

The women who do this hateful thing aren’t 100 percent to blame for what they’ve done. It’s as simple as this: we would have better women if we had better men. Maybe Susan Locke’s preacher was not man enough to preach against sin and name it by name. Maybe her father was a hen-pecked wimp never exemplifying manhood, never teaching her anything good and upright. Maybe she didn’t have a father. Maybe she never met a man. How sad! I sobbed a long time.
